On December 31, 2024, MoST issued the local standard for IP cameras – QCVN 135:2024/BTTTT.
This local standard is equivalent to ETSI TS 103 701 V1.1.1
The implementation plan for this new standard will be as following:
- From Jan. 01, 2026: all imported IP Cameras must meet the regulation of QCVN 135:2024/BTTTT. It means the importers need to get the local reports for this new standard for their IP Cameras when importing them to Vietnam.
- From Feb. 15, 2026: QCVN 135:2024/BTTTT is applied in testing, type approval certification and declaration of conformity in Vietnam.
There is no regulation/guidance for the type approval certification and declaration of conformity in Vietnam now. We will follow up and update you on this master.
