On 30 November 2025, the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam of Vietnam issued Circular 41/2025/TT-BKHCN which promulgate QCVN 136:2025/BKHCN for 6 GHz Wireless Devices. The application date of this QCVN will start from January 1, 2027 and will replace for QCVN 47:2015/BTTTT. The National Technical Standard QCVN 136:2025/BKHCN refers to the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) Harmonized Standard ETSI EN 303 687 V1.1.1 (2023-06), which covers “6 GHz WAS/RLAN; Harmonised Standard for access to radio spectrum”. It should be noted that the allowed frequency band for 6 GHz Wireless Devices will be 5945 MHz to 6425 MHz only while under the current regulations, the band of 5925 MHz – 6425 MHz ís being allowed.
Based on this Circular, it could be understood that for TA certificates granted to wifi 6 GHz wifi devices based on QCVN47:2015/BTTTT, they will be re-type approved under QCVN 136:2025/BKHCN from 1 January 2027.
