Drafted Cirular replacing Circular 30/2011/TT-BTTTT on the procedures for type approval certification and self-declaration of conformity.

MIC has just initiated its public consultation for its drafted Circular which shall replace for the current Circular 30/2011/TT-BTTTT on the procedures for type approval certification and self-declaration of conformity for products in field of information and communication technology. Expected time for the application of this drafted Circular will be in 2025.

Contents of this drafted Circular are actually the combination of the contents which were provided Circular 30/2011/TT-BTTTT dated 31 Oct, 2011, Circular 15/2018/TT-BTTTT dated 15 Nov, 2018 and Circular 10/2020/TT-BTTTT dated 07 May, 2020. We do not find any significant changes in TA certification and SDoC procedures under this drafted Circular. TA certficates granted and SDoC sumitted before the application date of this Circular shall continue their effectiveness as usual until the expiry dates.
